We were requested to supply and install a complete data installation for a live music venue in Sutton Coldfield. This was to include data network sockets for all the fixed devices such as EPOS terminals and card terminals. The venue also wished to have good Wi-Fi coverage for both a secure private network to service their own devices, as well as a public Wi-Fi network to service their customers.
We supplied and installed a DrayTek Vigor business class router, two network switches, one of which had a PoE provision for the wireless access points.
To provide good Wi-Fi coverage throughout the venue we installed three DrayTek dual-band wireless access points, which were configured to provide both a private and a public Wi-Fi service.
