We were approached by a care home in Rugeley who were experiencing problems with their 20 year old telephone system. We were delighted to learn that the quote we submitted, after surveying the home on the Tuesday to install a Panasonic KX-NS700 telephone system, was accepted and on the Friday of the same week the install was fully completed. The home was keen to have a fully working phone system as the telephone was relied on a lot for relatives to speak to the residents due to visiting being restricted during the COVID-19 restrictions.
We fitted a Panasonic KX-DT543 system phone in the manager’s office and a KX-DT521 system phone for the reception. We also provided a standard phone in the drugs store and for the kitchen.

One of the issues that the home highlighted was that with the old system residents had to walk or be assisted to the static phone in the reception, which was far from ideal. We provided a solution to this problem by providing two BT Elements 1k DECT cordless telephones. As well as offering long reception enabling them to be utilised throughout the home they are very robust and can withstand being accidentally knocked about.
