Back in 2015 we installed a new Panasonic KX-NS700 replacement telephone system for a charity in the Erdington area of Birmingham. By 2019 they had outgrown their old premises and made the decision to move to new premises in the same area.
As their Panasonic phone system is still a current model and was working well we were able to reinstall the PBX at their new premises. During the transition period we lent them a similar system at their old office. We were also able to use the existing handsets in order to keep the cost down, as well as adding three more handsets.
We worked closely with the charity’s IT company to ensure that the installation of the phone system and all the IT equipment was moved across seamlessly.
Prior to the move the charity used standard PSTN phone lines. During the relocation process we supplied two new FTTC broadband services, one for their data requirements and another for their telephony requirements. We converted their PBX to SIP trunks which resulted in the charity making substantial cost savings on their phone bill as well as offering them greater flexibility with their phone lines. An auto-attendant service was also added.
